Back in March, I placed BODYBOARDING 101 on "Indefinite Hiatus." To be completely honest, I was not prepared for the number of people that contacted me about how much they like the blog, how much they would miss it, and how they hoped I would reconsider shelving it. Well, after taking nearly four months away from working on this blog, and taking some time to think about it, I came to a simple realization. Bodyboarding 101, just like the sport of bodyboarding itself, is something I love too much to ever give up on! I love gathering information about the history and current events of bodyboarding almost as much as I love getting out in the water for a good session. It's in my blood. It's who I am. It's what I do.
Now that I'm ready to jump back in, there is a lot of work to be done. During the months of July and August, I will be updating many of the older Bodyboarding 101 blogs. I will, also, be working on posting roughly 20 new blogs which I have already begun work on. Stay tuned for new CURRENT EVENTS, HISTORY, RECAPS, and BTS (Behind The Scenes) blogs over the next two months...along with a possible surprise or two! It all begins on July 1st...until then, I'm Steve "Action" Jackson. I'll see you out in the water...YEEEWWW!!!
