AUSTRALIA- Bodyboarding legend Ryan Hardy has announced a new partnership wit shaper Todd Quigley and the launch of Hardy Shapes. Here is what Ryan had to say about on his Facebook page:
"I'm very amped to announce after 17years of riding custom boards shaped by Todd Quigley a.k.a @qcdboards, that Todd and I have now officially joined forces to bring @hardyshapes to the world.
We have spent the most part of our professional careers fine-tuning my custom shape to allow for maximum performance in all conditions and Hardy Shapes is the culmination of our efforts. Good bodyboarding is really all about finding #theperfectsetup."

MOREY BODYBOARDS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP
CARSON, CALIFORNIA- Morey has announced that it is now under new ownership. Here is the official press release.

"We are pleased to announce Morey Bodyboards is now under new ownership! The iconic surf brand that are under the parent company, Wham-O, is now under a new owner and management team. InterSport Corp has acquired the global rights to Wham-O® in an exclusive deal on November 16, 2016.
“It is with great pleasure that we are announcing that one of the most recognizable surf brands in the world is headed in the right direction. We know what it takes to make this brand great again, and we are excited with the new opportunities to take it there. I am also excited to announce the naming of our Surf Brand Manager, Jared Brown.” said Todd Richards, President of InterSport dba Wham-O.
“I am honored to work with the new team at InterSport DBA Wham-O® and the horizon looks great for what’s to come with Morey Boogie. I hope to make the brand great again and bring back the originality of Morey Boogie.
