BODYBOARDING 101 has been on hiatus for the past several months. The world of bodyboarding, on the other hand, has had plenty of things going on. So, without any further delay, here's a recap of the major bodyboarding news from the past few months...
JAKE STONE WINS 2014 ABA NATIONAL TOUR
AUSTRALIA- After running a successful 4-event season with competitions held at Duranbah, Knights Beach, Mandurah Wedge, and Mystics the ABA has crowned Jake Stone as the 2014 ABA Men's Pro Tour Champion.

ENCANTO PRO 2014 CANCELLED
PUERTO RICO- Due to time constraints, the organizers of the Encanto Pro Puerto Rico have cancelled the event for 2014, but have announced the ongoing negotiations to secure and confirm the event in its entirety (Men's, Women's, and Drop Knee pro divisions) for 2015 and 2016. SHARK ISLAND CHALLENGE ON HOLD UNTIL SEPTEMBER
AUSTRALIA- The 2014 Shark Island Challenge has been placed ON HOLD until September.
