Scion Motors, the title sponsor for the 2012 USBA Scion Jenks Pro (Sept. 1st-10th in Pt. AUSTRALIAN DAMIEN MARTIN BACK IN THE WATER AFTER SPINAL CHORD INJURY
Two months ago, Australian bodyboarder Damien Martin fractured six vertebrae during a wipeout at Bawley Point ( a reefbreak known for its dangerously shallow water and heavy barrels). After eight weeks, of recovery Damien has been cleared by his doctors to go back out in the water.
