2014 ITACOATIARA PRO SET TO BEGIN
NITEROI, BRAZIL- The Itacoatiara Pro is set to run as Event #2 on the APB Men's World Tour. The competition window is schedule for July 25th through August 3rd. Rider registration and check-in will be on July 23rd from 1pm-6pm at Adipas House.
Wild Card slots have for the event have been confirmed. The APB Wild Card has been awarded to Tanner McDaniel (Hawaii). The Local Wild Card positions have been awarded to Brazilians Dudu Pedra, Gugu Barcellos, and Guilherme Correa
PORTUGAL- The 2014 Sintra Portugal Pro has been confirmed to run at Praia Grande September 22nd-28th as part of the APB World Tour. The event will feature competition for Men's, Women's, and Drop Knee with the addition of a Pro Junior division.
ESPIRITO SANTO, BRAZIL- 5x Women's world Champion bodyboarder Neymara Carvalho has entered the political arena in Brazil. She is running for state senate in Espirito Santo. Boa sorte, Neymara!

JAKE STONE WINS 2014 ABA NATIONAL TOUR
AUSTRALIA- After running a successful 4-event season with competitions held at Duranbah, Knights Beach, Mandurah Wedge, and Mystics the ABA has crowned Jake Stone as the 2014 ABA Men's Pro Tour Champion.
PUERTO RICO- Due to time constraints, the organizers of the Encanto Pro Puerto Rico have cancelled the event for 2014, but have announced the ongoing negotiations to secure and confirm the event in its entirety (Men's, Women's, and Drop Knee pro divisions) for 2015 and 2016. AUSTRALIA- Fourteen weeks after suffering a fractured back and neck in a bodyboarding accident at Mystics, Lilly Pollard has issued an update on her recovery. Check the link below for the official press release.
HAWAII- In April, Mike Stewart's Science Bodyboards announced they have signed Canary Islands supergrom Alexandra Rinder and have released the Rinder signature model.
